I am glad to have you here. 

Hello, my name is Laura, and I live in a small red house which I named ‘Grapescottage’ due to the beautiful grapes that grow over the porch. It was built by my grandfather and his brothers in the 1950s, near their Chandelier laboratory.

In 2021, after the pandemic, I felt overwhelmed, particularly with work. As an architect, I found myself far removed from my values and disconnected from my personal and professional aspirations. I thought that in order to achieve the life I desired, I needed to make a significant change to my business.

However, after embarking on a new journey of introspection and creativity in my work, I realized that this process would be long and challenging. But, it reminded me of why I started on this path in the first place – to enjoy life.

As a child, Grapescottage was my favorite place to play. It was a symbol of the beauty and simplicity of life.

So, in the spring of 2023, I came to understand that everything needs its proper space in a healthy ecosystem. With this in mind, I launched this website with the desire to create a wild and safe space to explore joyful, authentic, and balanced home design and life.
